The par 5, 9th hole offers the golfer the choice of playing it as a 3-shot par 5, or taking a chance on getting home in 2. There is a stand of trees about a 100 yards in front of the green that require most to play around them on one side or the other. The lay up area lies just over a large rock in the middle of the fairway at the 125 yard marker. The green is very large, with bold interior contours that generally feed the ball left.
